Our History

Universal Title and its affiliated companies have been conducting real estate settlements since the late 1970s. Founded by David V. Mason, the company has always placed an emphasis on being a leader in the industry by providing first-rate service supported by the best available technology. In the mid-2000s, David was joined by his daughter Jennifer Mason Halsted and son David K. Mason, who together now lead the daily operations of the company.

Over the course of its more than forty-year history, Universal Title has expanded across the country, operates over twenty-five locations, and insures tens of thousands of properties a year. Despite this expansion, however, our family-first culture continues to run deep.
